Pranzo Chanioti – Red Dry Wine 750ml / 12.5% alc. vol. Contains sulfites A traditional dry red wine from the island of Kythera, produced by our family for more than three centuries and passed down from generation to generation. It comes from dry-farmed vineyards located close to the sea, benefiting from the area's unique microclimate and yielding high-quality grapes from the historic Arikaras (Fokiano) variety. With respect for tradition and careful winemaking, Pranzo Chanioti is aged in oak barrels. It is distinguished by its medium-intensity red colour and expressive aromas of red fruits, such as pomegranate and berries, harmoniously combined with notes of sweet spices, herbs, vanilla and smoke. On the palate, it offers a soft and full-bodied taste, with gentle tannins and a long, balanced finish, expressing the authentic Mediterranean character of our homeland. The name “Pranzo”, which means “Symposium” in the local dialect of Kythera, reflects our philosophy: wine as a symbol of companionship, hospitality and celebration. The quality and authenticity of our wine were recognised in 2024 with the Gold Taste Award at the Olymp Awards – Global Food Stars. Best served at 16–18°C. 🍷
